While it's not a "go-to" kind of pattern, I can see using it multiple places -- water, wind, abstract, even space. Normally, I prefer less dense quilting but this whimsical pattern is fun. The only thing is that it  imported VERY wide.  I haven't inspected it closely enough to see if it's really one pattern that's unusually wide or if I somehow got 2 patterns.
