I was given a steam punk panel quilt to quilt and there are very limited steam punk designs.  I had to overlap the rows so there was no dead space. I was not sure if this was the intent of the designer but it worked really well as the main design overlapped anyway.
Loved it. Stitched out really well and looks fabulous. Client was well pleased. Thank you.

Placement was a little bit tricky with the width of the design but once I placed it was perfect! It really brought the whole quilt together!

Used this on a Steam Punk Halloween quilt and the shop owner loved it..BUT since it's a long narrow type design you really need to have it at least 13" high as not to be too dense...so that means your pattern length needs to be 32" to 33" long for 1 pattern in order to have round circles..So if your quilt is more than 35" or less than 66" setting it is a bit tricky but the effect is terrific.
