When I layed out the quilt pattern in my software, It was very uneven.  I attempted to manipulate it by turning every other pattern upside down and by flipping every other pattern left to right.  No matter which I tried, the pattern did not "Nest" and there were large gaps between one pass and the next.  Needless to say, I did not use it on my quilt and can't imagine that I ever would.
