5 of 5 River Bed is excellent July 15, 2025

I used River Bed on an outdoorsy panel of a bear. I wanted a round design but not circles, which are much too civilized. These irregular River rocks are perfect for my mountain quilt. I will use it again next week on a quilt with a raccoon panel. The design quilts up smoothly and quickly.

I purchased this design for a client quilt. The quilt was a simple brick pattern using earth tone fabrics. This design was perfect. The stitch out was fast and smooth.

I used this pattern to quilt a Missouri Star "River Log Cabin:.  It was a perfect choice.  It quilted quickly and provided a lot of round edges for the strips of fabric in the log cabin.  I think I would make the pattern a bit smaller next time, but I plan to use it again.
