2 of 5 Super cute but difficult to align March 9, 2024

I purchased this for a bee quilt to be entered into a show. The motif is super cute but the way it lays out with the repeats is extremely difficult to align the vertical portions of the honeycomb with the previous rows.  Because it is critical to the design, it is obvious when it is only 1/8" off much less 1/2" when quilts stretch. The misalignment makes it almost unusable & definitely not able to enter into a show.  This would be much better if the repeat included multiple hexagons & rows.  I won't be using this design again which is sad because it's so stinking cute!
