My customer chose this pattern. I did not think it was going to work well because there's not a lot of contrast in the shapes of the flowers vs. the hummingbirds. I told her I didn't think you would be able to see the birds. But! It turned out better than I expected! On the other hand I found that many of the lines in the feathers and the curls had bumps and wiggles in them - they did not make a smooth shape and looked like I jostled the machine right there. I think that would it would improve the pattern a lot just to clean that up.

LOVE LOVE this pattern! I love hummingbirds anyway this looks so elegant on my Bargello quilt I put it on!
