Quick Coasters, Mug Rugs and Table Mats
6 - 4" Coasters
2 fat quarters of felt
or 2 fat quarters of fabric plus batting
use pattern at 13.5" by 8.5"
6 - 5" Mug Rugs
2 fat quarters of felt
or 2 fat quarters of fabric plus batting
use pattern at 17" by 11"
6 - 8" Table Mats or Hot pads
2 pieces fabric at least 35" by 24"
batting or heat resistant material such as InSul-Bright TM
Load 2 layers of felt or fabric, 2 layers of fabric plus batting as usual.
Stitch. These can be bound but for a quick easy project cut with a
pinking shear or a scalloped rotary cutter.
