I started to use this on a musical quilt for a friend’s daughter. The pattern is smaller & thus the repeat is repetitive, if that makes sense. While there is no doubt it is musical, the elegance & femininity of the Curly Clef was more fitting for my quilt. This would work well for a masculine or gender neutral quilt. I’ve used this design as a pantograph & it stitches nicely.
